Book Burning 21th century

What is wrong with our society today? Our society is living in a time that we have forgotten the importance of Books, we have replaced this great method of knowledge with electronic devices or today’s society instead of research in a good book we use the internet, everyday we are using less and less Books, we think because we have a easier life with internet we dont need to use book but this is completely wrong, in my opinion Books are the best source to obtain knowledge.
Book Burning is associated with censor shup, the question is why is this happening? Why did that happen? Censorship and Book Burning are still present in our society some of the reasons are because they contain violence or negativity, sexual situations, encouragement of damaging lifestyles, this one makes me reflect because how can a opinion or a book change the lifestyle of a person? In my opinion the person has the choice to be how he/she wants to be, a book cant change the way you are, it just makes you reflect. One of the points that impressed me was the censorship because of the government and we can identify in the novel Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, the government was afraid that people would gain too much knowledge and would overpower them or they censored Books because they were considered as a threat. One quote from Fahrenheit 451 that makes me see how was society in that time “Do you ever read any Books you burn”? He laughed “That’s against the law” this quote is really clear, it represents that government was afraid of books, or their knowledge. Another quote by Ray Bradbury makes me reflect “You dont have to burn Books to destroy a culture. Just get people to stop reading them”
We are not seeing the still importance of Books in our society, we are changing to a easy way of life using the internet instead of research in good source se like Books, Books still represents a fundamental part of knowledge
